Planned Parenthood 2012 Report: One Abortion Every 94 Seconds

Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s new annual report for 2011-2012 states that its affiliated clinics performed 333,964 abortions in the 2011 fiscal year.
The average is about one abortion every 94 seconds.
Planned Parenthood does provide services that people want, such as abortions, birth control and STD testing. However, originally the organization was founded by racist Margaret Sanger to stop black people from reproducing.
According to a fact report Planned Parenthood published last year, they performed 333,964 abortions in fiscal year 2011 that are an increase of 4,519 abortions from the 329,445 abortions they performed in fiscal 2010.
The new annual report declares that the organization has assets of $1,244.7 billion.
However, even with this much endowment, the report also states that the past year Planned Parenthood still received $542.4 million in “government health services grants and reimbursements.”
It states that the funds include “payments from Medicaid managed care plans.”
“We are so proud of the year’s many successes, and deeply grateful for all the partners, sponsors, volunteers, staff and friends who helped make them possible,” states the report’s introductory letter, signed by PPFA president Cecile Richards and Cecelia Boone, chair of the organization.
