Plans for worldwide release of the Princess Diana murder plot-claiming documentary Unlawful Killing were set to coincide with the 15th anniversary of her car crash death in Paris, but they have been blocked by various U.K. government officials, revealed Richard Kay, Daily Mail journalist and friend of Diana.

The movie that was supposed to be released in the United States on August 31 was funded by former Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed claims Princess Diana and his son Dodi were murdered in an Establishment plot involving Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth and secret illegal military arms dealers and police.

This July, a year after it was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival by Keith Allen – director and father of singer Lily Allen – Unlawful Killing has been banned and withdrawn from movie theater release worldwide due to numerous lawsuit threats, according to Kay.

Prince William and Prince Harry are currently putting their approval behind a Hollywood biopic about their mother, Caught In Flight, starring Naomi Watts as Diana.

The £2.5 million Al Fayed-funded documentary Unlawful Killing was challenging the conclusions of the formal investigation into Princess Diana’s death. It begins with a letter she wrote to her butler predicting her ex-husband Prince Charles was going to have her killed in a car accident.

The film accused the British royal family members, the U.K. judiciary, the U.S. government, the French police, hospital staff and coroners of being part of a murder cover-up of the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi. One could say the Establishment is the New World Order Illuminati.

Allen had accused the royals of masterminding the car crash that caused the death of Princess Diana as a “warning” to her to toe the line, and it ended in her dying.

The documentary shows a graphic black and white close-up photo of Diana seconds after the Mercedes-Benz crashed into the Paris underpass pillar. The photo had never been seen publicly in the U.K. before.

Allen used it to show that Diana was still alive and could have been saved if taken immediately to the hospital.

The film features Mohamed Al-Fayed accusing the royal family of being racist – particularly Prince Philip.

Allen, who also narrates the documentary, suggests in it that the Establishment was unhappy with Diana’s relationship with Dodi, because he was Muslim, and it would have caused problems had the pair married.

It also claims that her role in the anti-landmine campaign put her at risk from those in the military weapons industry, and those in power who had links to it, including Prince Charles and Prince Philip.

According to Kay, lawyers warned the documentary contained 87 contentious assertions that would have had to be cut before the film could be screened in the United Kingdom, which “proved impossible.”

Regardless, the producers pursued plans to show the movie in the U.S., Spain, India, Russia, Brazil and Italy.

“I understand they wanted to have the picture opening during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year,” wrote Kay.

“Negotiations with a U.S. distribution company concluded with an agreement to screen it. But the deal hinged on the filmmakers securing special insurance indemnification for the distributors covering the territories of the UK and France.”

A spokesman for the producers told him: “Unlawful Killing had been sold all around the world, including the U.S. But there was a specific form of insurance needed by the U.S. distributors to cover them for their UK and French offices.

“This proved impossible to secure. As a result of this the film has been withdrawn in perpetuity.”
