The Spice Girls reunited for a semi-surprise performance at the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony Sunday.
An estimated one billion people watched the show around Earth – one of TV’s biggest audiences.
The five women were hauled onto the Union Jack shaped stage while singing their first radio single “Wannabe” on top of five traditional black cabs that were lit in moving lights to reflected their individual personalities.
Within minutes of arriving, the Spice Girls – Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Mel C (Sporty Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) – broke out into a high-energy dance routine.
They keept with their tradition of dressing to fit their nicknames: Geri, 40, wore a Union Jack flag themed dress; Emma, 36, was in all hot pink with a spacesuit looking mini-dress; Mel C, 38, wore a flowing white jumpsuit; Mel B, 37, stuffed herself into a sequinned bodysuit; Victoria, 38, wore a black dress with a long train.
Prior to the performance, Emma tweeted: “It’s all pink tonight baby!!!!!!!”
Surprisingly, some of the politicians seemed to be fans of the Spice Girls.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson was on video with a variety of energetic dance moves to the “Spice Up Your Life” song.
Prime Minister David Cameron was also seen on TV dancing a little from the VIP seats near Kate Middleton and Prince Harry.
Victoria Beckham appeared to almost fall as she mounted her cab to leave the stage.
As she rose up on the roof of the vehicle, she tripped a little and had to steady herself on a supportive barrier.
After the concert, Geri tweeted: “That was amazing!!!! Thank you all , [gic] we [gic] love you!!xx [gic]”
Victoria posted a photo of the girl band on Twitter and wrote: “We did it!! I love u [sic] girls so much!!!!! xxx vb[.]”
The photo captured Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) making an alleged representation of the Illuminati New World Order Eye of Horus.
Some of the Spice Girls music videos and performances, such as “Holler” have included Illuminati signs over the years,
It is believed the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony will be the last time the Spice Girls perform together as a group of five.
Spice Girls have nine number one songs and over 75 million music units sold.
Other musicians performing at the closing ceremony included Annie Lennox; a video of David Bowie; a video of John Lennon; Queen; Jessie J; The Who; One Direction; George Michael; the Pet Shop Boys; ex-Mr. Katy Perry and comedian Russell Brand.

Does the sun have the power to transform humankind?
In Solar (R)evolution, world-renowned German biophysicist Dieter Broers makes a compelling case, pointing to a wealth of scientific evidence that shows a remarkable correlation between increases in solar activity and advances in our creative, mental, and spiritual abilities.
We are in the midst of a dramatic rise in solar disturbances, which have the capability of disrupting the Earth’s geomagnetic field and, as a result, our global ecology. Broers, however, sees this not as an impending apocalypse but as the dawn of a new era.
Drawing on research from a variety of disciplines, he shows how erupting solar activity carries the potential to boost our brain capacity and expand our minds in ways we never imagined possible. Abilities now seen as extraordinary or supernatural—telepathy, extrasensory perception, and off-the-charts intelligence quotients—may soon become ordinary and natural and could very well help us solve the mounting global crises we are facing.
Humankind is going through an evolutionary leap, says Broers, and the process has already begun.
