Jessica Simpson Pregnant at Baby Shower for Daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson

Jessica Simpson gave birth to a baby girl yesterday, but the name seems more fitting of a tranny.

The 31-year-old reality TV judge/singer popped out the baby and gave her the typically male first and middle names Maxwell Drew Johnson.

Maybe she is getting the girl ready to become a future drag queen.

Simpson announced the birth on her website with a banner.

She is more known for her ditzy airheaded demeanor than her singing, so it seems fitting she would think it seemed like a good idea to name a girl Maxwell.

Jessica wrote on her site: “Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson.

“We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This is been the greatest experience of our lives.”

Simpson, who used to use her former virginity as a marketing technique and frequently touted that she was “saving herself” for marriage, was hypocritically impregnated by her football player fiance Eric Johnson, and they are still unmarried.

Simpson looked obese during her pregnancy, but claimed she had more amniotic fluid than typical pregnancies.

Baby Maxwell, nicknamed Maxi, weighed in at a bigger than normal 9lbs 13oz and 21 and 3/4 inches long.

She apparently takes her middle name from Jessica’s mother Tina, whose maiden name is Drew, and Maxwell is Eric’s middle name.

Members of the couple’s families – Simpson’s mother, sister Ashlee and Johnson’s parents – were seen arriving at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles according to Daily Mail.

Ashlee told People magazine yesterday: “Bronx [her son] and I are in love with Maxwell already! Jessica has wanted to be a mom since we were little girls and I couldn’t be more excited for her and Eric!”

Jessica was last spotted outside on Sunday, when she went for a drive with Eric.

She was overdue since April 21, and her dad Joe told fans last weekend on Twitter: “Still counting down the days til I am a grandpa again. Keep Jess in your prayers.”

Last month, Simpson threw a lavish Texan-themed baby shower that was attended by celebrity guests including Jessica Alba and Ellen Pompeo.

Throughout her pregnancy, she said in several interviews that she was indulging in her favorite childhood foods and said she would happily “give into my cravings.”

Simpson is rumored to be the next face of Weight Watchers for her post-pregnancy weight loss and will add even more money to her billion-dollar shoe and clothing company’s earnings.

She became engaged to Eric Johnson in November 2010 after she dated him for only six months and found out she was pregnant.

He is reportedly cheating on her with several other women according to “blind vice” articles by Ted Casablanca of E!’s The Awful Truth.

Simpson was previously married to Nick Lachey, from 2002 to 2005.

The marriage ended in divorce after they had a successful reality TV show “Newlyweds.”
