Whitney Houston’s Drug Dealer Took Cocaine Evidence from Room After Drowning Death

Whitney Houston’s drug dealer eliminated all traces of cocaine from her hotel room after finding her drowned and dead in the bathtub, according to reports.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said yesterday Whitney used cocaine “not probably too much before she collapsed.”

However, no traces of any illegal drugs were found in her hotel room when investigators conducted their search, and it is also being claimed that bed sheets were missing.

It is being claimed by TMZ that Beverly Hills Police Department have not closed the case and are investigating it as a case of evidence tampering.

They add that: “One source who is extremely close to the situation tells us, the individual who removed the cocaine was also the person who supplied it to Whitney.”

Meanwhile Houston’s on-off boyfriend hip hop R&B singer Ray J has vehemently refuted claims made by Bobby Brown’s sister that he enabled Houston’s use of the drug before she died.

A spokesperson for Ray J slammed the allegations made by Leolah Brown on HLN’s Dr. Drew show that the 31-year-old may have provided the late star with the drugs that contributed to her tragic February 11 death, saying her interview was “rife with false statements.”

And according to TMZ, singer Brandy’s younger brother had “no knowledge” that Houston was even using the drug.

Ray J’s publicist, Courtney Barnes told E! News: “Though Leolah Brown was nowhere near the Beverly Hilton hotel on the day Whitney Houston died, [HLN's parent company] CNN proceeded to broadcast an interview with Ms. Brown in which she falsely claimed that Ray J was at the hotel and contributed to Whitney Houston’s death.

“Even the most minimal inquiry with anyone actually in contact with Whitney would reveal that Leolah Brown had been out of contact with Whitney for more than a year and was nowhere near the scene on the day of her death.”

Leolah told Dr. Drew Pinksy that she witnessed Ray J, real name William Ray Norwood Junior, leaving the singer’s Beverly Hilton hotel room “hiding his head on the day she died.

“Why is he hiding his face? He’s always trying to show his face when he’s with Whitney. Why now? Why you trying to hide, Ray J?” she asked.

But he claims he was in San Diego on the day of Whitney’s death.

Brown then accused Ray J of being a “runner boy” for Houston because he “knows somebody that sells drugs” and bought and supplied them to her.

Houston’s official cause of death, released yesterday by the Los Angeles County Coroner, reveals that the 48-year-old died as the result of accidental drowning and the combined effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.

It was revealed yesterday that Whitney sunk into the bathwater after suffering a massive heart attack caused in part by her prolonged drug abuse.

Following the news, Houston’s family have released a statement that says: “We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure.”

And her mother Cissy Houston is reported to be “shocked” to learn that her daughter was still using drugs at the time of her death.

According to TMZ, Cissy believes the star began taking drugs again due to stress over her comeback, but thought Houston to be sober as she filmed the movie Sparkle.

The cause of death ruling ends weeks of speculation over how the she died, with some members of her family even suggesting murder may have led to the surprise death on February 11.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner’s office, said the official cause of death was accidental drowning.

He added that heart disease and the singer’s cocaine use were contributing factors to her collapse.

The Chief Coroner Craig Harvey stated during a televised press conference yesterday that the results suggest “chronic usage” of cocaine by Houston.

He said there was “an acute dose” of cocaine in Houston’s system when she died.

Coroner’s officials said the results suggest she was a chronic cocaine user.

Traces of marijuana and the prescription anti-anxiety drug Xanax were found along with Flexiril and over-the-counter Benadryl, but they did not play a direct role in her death.

Law enforcement sources said it was likely that Houston had a heart attack that caused her to lose consciousness and drown in the bath at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The heart attack was probably brought on by the hardening of her arteries as a result of years of cocaine abuse.

Immediately after the death, it was widely thought that drinking binges combined with prescription pills combined to make her lose consciousness and slip under the bathwater.

But the toxicology tests did not show any significant amount of alcohol in Houston’s system.

Several bottles of prescription medication were found in her hotel room, but they were not said to be in excessive quantities. No cocaine was discovered in the room.

Beverly Hills police said in a statement there was no evidence of wrongdoing in connection with the death.

The final Coroner’s report is expected to be released in approximately two weeks.

Whitney Houston died just hours before she was scheduled to appear at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammys party.
