Dr. Conrad Murray Handcuffed and Arrested in Court After Guilty Verdict
During the reading of the guilty verdict of Dr. Conrad Murray today, a woman screamed.
The HLN and CNN journalists in the courtroom believe it was either La Toya Jackson or Kathy Hilton – they were sitting next to each other.
The screech sounded like La Toya’s voice.
Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson.

He was ordered by the judge to be handcuffed in court and arrested by the Los Angeles County sheriff’s office.
Murray will stay in jail until the November 29 sentencing hearing without bail because the judge said he is a high flight risk and poses a risk to the public as a convicted felon of a homicide.

He is expected to receive four years in prison and the revocation of his medical license.
After the family and friends left the courtroom, HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell caught some of them for comments.

Michael’s brother Jermaine Jackson said to Velez-Mitchell: “Justice is served. Michael is with us.”
Then, sister Rebbie Jackson said to Velez-Mitchell, when she was asked what she wanted to say to the public: “Thank you so much.
“I’m just happy it’s over with.
“Nothing will bring him back, but I’m happy he was found guilty.”
Sister La Toya Jackson said to Velez-Mitchell: “Thank you America. Thank you all the fans. Prosecution team, you were great. Everyone was wonderful. Jane [Velez-Mitchell], I love you.

“Michael loves everyone in the court here, and he was in the courtroom, and that is why justice was served.”
La Toya was with her partner Jeffre Phillips, owner of Ja-Tail Entertainment.
Kathy Hilton, Paris Hilton’s mom who grew up near the Jacksons and lived near the rented house Michael died at, said to Velez-Mitchell: “Justice, and we’re thrilled.
“But still Mr. and Mrs. Jackson are leaving today without their son.”
