Bristol Palin’s appearance at Candie’s Foundation’s abstinence education benefit gala Tuesday at Cipriani event caterer in New York has sparked plastic surgery speculation.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Rivkin, who has been featured as a surgery expert on the TODAY show, Tyra Banks Show, EXTRA, Univision, PBS, Fox news, E!, KNBC-TV and KABC-TV told Monsters and Critics Thursday that Sarah Palin’s daughter definitely has had surgery in addition to weight loss.
Dr. Rivkin told Monsters and Critics, “Weight loss in certain folks can really change the shape of the face, usually for the better. As the fullness around the the jawline, under the chin and in the upper neck area disappears, the person’s face gains definition and the shape goes from round to oval. In her case it seems that this jawline definition effect was enhanced by some augmentation of her chin. Whether this was via an implant or filler injection is hard to tell. The augmentation is relatively subtle and natural looking. It also looks like she had some augmentation of her lower lip, most likely with a hyaluronic acid filler product like Juvederm. I have to say the overall effect looks very good.”

The Los Angeles surgeon specializes in faces only, and he developed innovative procedures, such as The Non-Surgical Chin and Cheek Enhancement and Non-Surgical Eye, Jowl and Face Lifts. He was the first doctor in the country to offer the Non-Surgical Nose Job, a non-invasive correction of cosmetic nasal irregularities.
Dr. Brian Glatt, a board-certified New Jersey-based plastic surgeon with more than 12 years of expertise told E! News Thursday about the “Dancing with the Stars” Republican: “Her upper face, her eyes, brows, and forehead seem to be the same as they were,” he says. “She’s lost a little volume in her cheeks from weight loss, which you’d expect in someone young, but the lower third of her face is a dramatic difference. You could draw a line across the lower third, it’s like two different people.
“She had a double chin before and that’s gone now. It looks to me like she’s had extensive liposuction throughout her neck, including under her chin, which has clearly been liposuctioned, it’s obvious to me,” Glatt said.

“Her chin is a lot more defined, which can occur from aggressive lipo, but she may also have had an implant. Her chin is more straight and more defined afterwards, which really points to her having a chin implant as well.
“Her lower lip looks a lot more full,” he said. “It’s pretty obvious to me that she’s had something injected into her lower lip, nothing in her upper lip. If she had surgery recently, he lower lip could be swollen, but it looks injected, I don’t think it’s just from postoperative swelling, it’s more prominent.”
Glatt said that Palin has changed some of her other features, such as shaping her brows slightly differently and wearing more eye shadow.
“Overall, she went from having a square face to a heart-shaped face, and a heart-shaped face is considered more beautiful,” Glatt said.
